About Peter
I am well versed in advanced theory and all genres of music. I will tailor your learning plan to what meet your personal musical goals, from jamming along to your favorite hits to hitting the books and knuckling down on some serious compositional theory.
I love creating music, especially with other people. Sharing the knowledge and kindling the passion in the community is what it is all about.
I have studied the guitar, bass guitar, drums, banjo, mandolin, piano, and vocal performance most of my life. I minored in music theory in college. I performed with several regionally successful bands over the years in Seattle, WA.

First and foremost, we'll do a consultation. It can be part of the first lesson, or a separate day. The intent of this is to assess the personal goals of the student, and the level at which to begin. Next we'll determine the schedule and pace, based on the goals and level determined. Then we'll carefully craft a specific step by step program tailored to the individual to maximize the results. Although rigorous in technique and theory, the program will always be centered around positivity and the personal fulfillment that creating music provides!
