About Jackson

I've played guitar, bass, and drums for over a decade and have played in indie rock bands for the last 8 years. I have extensive knowledge of classic rock, prog, R&B and current indie rock music, and I can learn to play most things by ear. Just looking to share music and skills with others and help people learn to play their favorite music as well as make music of their own.

I took IB music in high school and two semesters of songwriting in college. My bandmates and roommates for several years were guitar performance majors and I learned a lot from them about music theory.

About the lesson

I would love to first find out what skill level you're at and what type of music you're interested in playing, then setting some goals for a song or two to start with and exercises that can help you practice skills depending on what you pick.

I have toured with 3 different bands in the last 2 years - once as a singer/guitarist and twice as a drummer.
