I don't teach inside the box. I teach outside. I try to teach you how to teach yourself.
I really enjoy seeing people find out that they can do things they thought they couldn't.
I guess I could say I got my start by teaching myself first. And from there I started teaching friends and so on.
I've been playing guitar for over 20 years.

The first thing is I want to find out, what is it that we're trying to achieve? From there I can lay out some steps on how to get to a certain intermediate level of playing to where we can start exploring all the different genres of music and styles of guitar playing. And with that, hopefully, it'll all lead you to become a well rounded and confident guitar player.
Ask questions. It's always cool when a student asks a question that I don't have an answer to because it allows me to learn more as well.
