Joey has been a great cello teacher. I like the fact that his experience covers a broad range of music. When I want to make an arrangement of a heavy metal song, or I need to learn the nuance of baroque performance, he's there.

He's a working musician so his schedule is somewhat variable, but he is good about communicating and always comes when he says he will. He's personable and enthusiastic.

Joe was able to work with my daughter to approach some very complex material (using Abelton live to live loop and edit her songs) at a pace and with a vocabulary and tone that completely defused an otherwise intimidating situation.
