About Dan
My teaching approach:
The instrument is just that, an instrument you use to create music. But to really be able to play it well you need to understand music, styles, techniques used to produce certain sounds and effects. I teach on both electric and acoustic guitars. I play on Stat, tele, LP's, semi hollow and full hollow body guitars for electrics. Acoustics I teach on steel strings and nylon strings.
My guitar lessons take place in:
The teacher's studio or the student's home
Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas:
Areas of Portland, Tigard, Beaverton, Aloha, Sherwood, Newberg, and Hillsboro
Guitar Techniques:
Guidance In Equipment Selection, Song Writing, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Vocal Accompaniment, Slide Guitar, Fingerstyle, Open tuning, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar
