About Nicole

I'm very excited about sharing my love of music and understand the struggles beginners have when starting out.

About the lesson

It's important to me to get a sense of the student's current skill level and learn what kind of music the student wants to play (if applicable). I would then inquire about any goals the student has and what kind of time the student has available to practice between lessons.

Look for a teacher you connect with. Fit is important. You can find the best instructor, the best performer on an instrument, but if you don't click with your teacher or feel uncomfortable with a teacher, they might not be the right fit for you.

A few months ago, there was an informal set of outdoor pop-up brass band performances in my area, one of which I was fortunate enough to participate in. It brought joy to (safely-distanced) spectators during an otherwise hard year.
