About Julian

My teaching approach:

I have been a professional musician for the past 25 years. I have performed and toured all over the US as well as gigs in Canada, Mexico and Switzerland. Recorded numerous CDs in the latin market as well as commercials and video game music.

My influences are:

In music, my old high school band director. I find myself qouting him alot in my teachings.

First lesson is usually the hardest because I throw alot of things at you to see how well you retain the information and so I can gauge how fast to move. It is also the time to discuss techniques and good practice habits.

Lessons with me are based on theory and practical approaches. Combining the 2 allows me to show how you are able to utilize the tools and advance your playing.
