About Martin

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years in many different styles and bands including country, mariachi, Christian, and Tejano. I also play button accordion. I have taught through choirs and privately in my home.

I received many requests for lessons from church goers and others who have attended occasions when I am performing.

I have been a school teacher and also have a love for music of all types. I help my own children in developing their musical talents.

About the lesson

I see what interests they have, what skill level, etc. And work from there. I try to have fun and give as much attention as I can so they can succeed in only a short time.

Find one you are comfortable with who will work with you and is more interested in your success more than his/her own. The focus should be on the learner not the teacher.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A person should be able to play the guitar in a few lessons and advance from there. Teaching an instrument is a hobby of mine which I love, it is not simply for the money.
