About Jon d

As a student I always wanted to know the why behind playing music. I under stood how to play a chord but I wanted know why a chord or scale exists and how to build it from nothing. My approach to teaching music will get you playing quickly but also go in depth to give you a good understanding and foundation to stand on.

Rocking out lol. But in all seriousness music to me is about coming together to create. Collaborating with students and all people passionate about music is what I love.

I've always been involved in music ever since I started playing in high school and I just naturally transitioned into teaching the knowledge I would learn.

I'm a teacher of 5 wonderful kids in many subjects including music and have a lot of experience in teaching. I've also taught and directed music groups through various church organizations and youth programs.

About the lesson

Dialoguing about what direction and Goals they have with their playing and custom tailoring a learning process based off that.

Mostly youth and college age, but occasionally adults as well
