About MARK
Over the past 25 years, I’ve dedicated my life to gymnastics and the performing arts. I was an elite level gymnast representing Great Britain in international competition from the age of 12 to 20 and was recognized for my talents while competing in European and World Championships. In 2004, I received a full scholarship to UC Berkeley to study for my BA in Sociology and compete for the NCAA Division 1 Cal Men’s Gymnastics team. Shortly after graduation, I was hired by Cirque du Soleil for the creation of the 2010 Touring production TOTEM and was a performing artist with TOTEM for over 4 years.
In 2014, I recognized my desire to help others achieve their goals and developed my own fitness and movement consultancy: Freeman Technique. Originally developed in Pittsburgh, it moved into an international platform within a year after much success. In 2017, I was offered a prestigious position at UC Berkeley as the Assistant Coach for Men’s Gymnastics and was eager to continue my passion for coaching. Since then, I’ve cultivated a thriving network within the Bay Area’s progressive market.
