About Tiffany

I believe it's not only important for students to learn the choreography but to bring their own flavor to it as well. I'll teach them different techniques, make them feel comfortable, and definitely have a lot of fun with the dances.

I love being able to create art through my movements and express stories of the music that I dance to. I also love challenging myself choreographically so I can enchance my skills as a dancer.

I started teaching because dance is my passion and want to share that energy and vibe with others. Just like poetry, spoken word, instruments, dance is something that you can immerse yourself in and be as expressive as you want.

I worked as a substitute dance teacher at a studio in Casselberry, FL (near Orlando).

Gave three private beginner hip hop lessons to two children at their home.

Took beginner & advanced hip hop classes at a studio in Orlando, FL.

Performed at an open mic/artist showcase in church.

Choreographed dances for camp.

About the lesson

With my lessons I like to show the dance and then break it down. To make sure that the students understand the moves, I go over them repeatedly, do it to the music a few times, and when they're ready I move on to the next portion.

So far I've worked with 9-15 year olds but I do want to work with 9-17 year olds.

I would simply tell the student to ask if there's anything in particular they're looking for.

My sister and brother-in-law, with the help of our church, put on an event called The Live Wire Lounge. It was an event that showcased artists from musicians to dancers to poets. It was a really good turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves. I performed as well and although I was nervous beforehand, I stayed focused and let the moves flow.
