About Courtney

I have a passion for history, particularly medieval, ancient, and early European history as well as early American history. However, I am able to tutor in US, European, and World history. I love learning and teaching history and would love to help students better understand and remember the causes and effects historical events.

I have a passion for teaching others about history and loved the idea of helping students.

I have a passion for history and have self taught myself all of my knowledge from historical readings, biographies, textbooks, as well as many history courses throughout university.

About the lesson

For a new student, I would like to gather a list of topics that are required to go over, specifically time periods, events, and historical figures. Then, if possible, I would like to understand the student's learning style and discuss the best way to help the student understand and remember topics. Once we have had these discussions, we can set up a schedule that works best for both the student and I to tackle the topics needed.
