About Ben
With over 18 years of hands on experience in civics and well over two decades in mentorship and leadership, I can provide real world applications for concepts discussed in class.
I am passionate about learning and helping people realize their best selves. As a firm believer that everyone has a talent to share, I take pride in knowing I can play a role in uncovering it.
It's part of everyone's every day life. This is just an organized way of doing it!
I have worked with students in a variety of settings from traditional reading tutoring to serving as an AmeriCorps member and as a stay at home dad for our three young kids.

I love building new relationships so general discussion about their everyday lives and understanding where the subject matter we're discussing fits in. There's always a tie back!
From little kids to older adults!
Look for people who really care about the subject matter and your understanding of it.
My family took a trip to Disney in February right before the pandemic hit the United States. We had such a great time and the memories have carried us through what can sometimes be a difficult time not feeling as safe going to the same places currently.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is there a pattern to what I'm struggling with (ie dates, names, concepts, timeline, theories, etc)?
