Hello! My name is Ms. Val.
I have 17 years of tutoring experience. I had to learn different ways to manage and accomplish goals during my academic career. Now, I am here to help you!
My greatest passion in life is passing down knowledge. Watching my students grow feels fantastic. I tutor English Language Arts, AP Literature, Honors English, Western Studies, Human Geography,Speech/Debate, and Social Sciences.
I am here to ensure every student is ready for college and the working world. I will even help guide you through the college application process if needed.
Many of my students are accepted into high-performance colleges.
I provide an individual curriculum for each student. In addition, my students are part of an integrated book club where we discuss literature and current events.
Whatever comes your way, Ms. Val will guide you—preparing for your first major research paper to PSAT practice. I have my students back %100.
I am not an ESL teacher. I am an ELA teacher.
I worked with pre-k students in the summer during my college years. In addition, I was a tutor for my high school football team. So , I have tutored for a total 17 years.
Next, I have also written professional speeches for individuals working in corporate America.
I wrote one of my college papers on The Amish way of life. Instead of looking up answers online. I went to the local area in Philadelphia to study their way of life.
I love writing about sociology, criminal justice, women studies, and speech communications.
I was an author at Miss A Magazine ( international)
Officer of Disabilities Awareness
Phi Theta Kappa Hall of Honor
National Honor Society
Phi Theta Kappa
National Society of Leadership and Success
Phi Alpha Theta
National Dean's List
Vice President's Honor Roll
I wrote one of my college papers on a subgroups. Instead of looking up the answers and tons of crime reports. I went to the communities where the subgroups live . In addition. I traveled to prisons and police stations for primary sources.
My degree is in sociology.

You - I always set a consultation meeting.
- Adult students need to reach out to me.
-Now, for school-age children under the age of 17. First, I would like to hear from the parents.
. Each parent has a set of ideas about the child’s academic struggle.
I would like to hear the parent’s, and student’s views of academic success before the tutoring begins.
-Ages 12 to non-traditional college students.
- I work with middle school , high school, and college students.
I have a handful of homeschooled students as well.
Please, call or email any more questions.
Thank You
Do not be afraid to email or text me beforehand. Thanks

Expanding my nonprofit.
Recently I have helped a few students prepare for adulthood within western civilization. Many of my students are first-generation American students in their families.
I am a bridge between parent and student. I am proud to help families unite during academic journeys.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I feel this is an individual process. After that, we will put a plan together.
Think about your Academic wants and needs. It does not hurt to think about 5 years from now.

Perfect! Ms. Valentine is such a sweetheart. Always trying to help her students understand whatever they're learning. She's very dedicated, endearing, and loyal to her students and teaching. I recommend her over anyone else because even though my tutoring has ceased due to Covid-19 ruining my school plans she's still kind enough to have offered to help me anytime I may need it! ♥

Through this tutoring service my English grades were increased a lot and my sat score was also increased. Along with the academics, I was also taught many important skills to know in life through this tutoring.
My daughter loves her sessions with Ms.Val. Ms.Val is kind and patient and lets her talk about anything and everything and helps her in relating her experiences with the books that she reads. I see so much growth in my daughter in academic front as well as personal front. Thanks Ms.Val.
I like how she always helps me when I am struggling and listens to what I have to say in class. She is a great teacher and getting through school is easier with her.
She is extremely patient, passionate & dedicated to helping our children understand the information/lessons. As I have a son whom has a bit harder time focusing &a daughter whom fights to say she is struggling with a topic. She's able to work with them and appeals to each one in a amazing manner that they've loved working with her!
I also love how she works with our family schedule to make sure the hours work for us all! You can't bet working with Amber!Val really takes her time to explain and teach the material so you are able to understand. Because of her I seen my grades highly improved and would highly recommend her to anyone.
Very professional, I learned a lot. Thank you for helping me with English!
My son's tutor is very smart and very knowledgeable on all.subjects
Very personable and patient!
She is a great tutor and really knows her stuff! Not only is she helpful, she’s also very caring and outgoing. Many tutors don’t care about their students like she does.
Amber helped my son last year with social studies. Now history is his favorite subject. She makes learning interesting by telling small personal stories that are connected to something in the past.
Amber is great!!She is very knowledgeable, reliable and patient. My daughter loves the sessions and looks forward to learning more. I feel she is definitely receiving the support she needs to succeed.
She’s hard working and believes in me
