About Lauren
I am a young equestrian specializing in horsemanship, horse behavior/psychology and developing dedicated riders. I started riding when I was 5 and have 18 years total horse experience.
I showed a passion for training and teaching almost 3 years ago when I got my first yearling. He progressed quickly and calmly and many people came to me for advice.

Start with square one. Equipment and safety.
Ages 4-18
Do your homework. Check their experience and observe how their personal horses act/react.
Obstacle course training is a good tool to have under your belt. It doesn’t matter what kind of riding you do. If you’re able to further your horse’s education in any way, they will be a better partner in the future.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Definitely think about the goal first. If you want to own a horse, riding lessons are a great way to start.
