Experienced tutor in Horseback riding in Manakin-Sabot, Joe offers private lessons and trail rides tailored to your needs.

Perfect! The lesson program at Mayfair farm is above and beyond. From beginner to advanced, Joe takes ample time to get you acquainted with every step and facet of the sport, from tacking up properly, to taking the time to teach you the proper foundations so that you can be successful no matter what your riding goals are. I am forever grateful to have found Mayfair.

Perfect! Excellent trainer, excellent horses-
Amazing place

Perfect! Working with Joe is a delight. He is extremely knowledgeable and gives each rider a personal experience that fits their needs. I can't imagine riding anywhere else.

Perfect! Joe has a lot of experience and is a great instructor!

Perfect! The horses are beautiful and the trainer was very patient with my teenager.

Perfect! Joe is a true gentleman. He believes in tradition and doing things the right way. He is patient and kind. I’ve found a lifelong friend as well as mentor!

Perfect! Joe is extremely knowledgeable and has extensive experience. He is happy to share his wealth of knowledge; not just as it pertains to riding but as it pertains to horsemanship as well. His love for his horses - and their love for him - is evident to all.

The environment at Mayfair is warm and welcoming - it is more low-key compared to some of the nearby facilities that are geared more towards competition and showing - this is exactly what I was looking for.

I have been looking to re-acqaint myself with riding after many years of being away from it; Joe has been working with me and with teaching my son who is a beginner - we have both been very happy with our experience.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mayfair to anyone looking for a laid back farm where they can get excellent riding instruction.
