About Mia

Hi there! I have been riding and competing in both English and Western since I was 7 in America, Spain, Itlay and South America. I have been training both people and horses for the past 5 years both in and out of the country. My specialities are breaking/training horses, beginner/intermediate level riders, entry dressage, hunter-jumper, barrel racing, and general flatwork.

I volunteered at several different farms and then was reffered by my own trainers once I graduated from their teaching.

Ten plus years of training in various points of the U.S. for barrel racing, hunter jumper, and some dressage. Further training in Spain and Italy for jumping and dressage. Specality horse training in South America consistenting of breaking wild horses and teaching them several English disciplines.

About the lesson

Getting to know them and their overall riding goals. Beginning with some ground work and establishing a comfortable connection with the horse (if they are using my horse). Or having a trail ride to feel out their horse. Assesing from there.

Mostly young children from 6-14. Some older clients 40-60.

Finally being able to ride a horse I had been trying to break and train for months in a small town in Guatemala. Absolutely perfect day and our first ride was together on the mountain range.
