About Shawnee
Equine Assisted Education is proven to be an effective method especially with children and adults that have challenges. We incorporate unit studies also to provide core skills to students that are homeschooling due to the current pandemic. Our passion is instilling a love for the outdoors and especially for horses, and creating opportunities for building job skills through our intern program and offering opportunities for personal growth. When we see a child's face light up when they get on a horse for the first time it lights up our hearts. When we see an autistic child loving a horse it makes our day. When we create another horse lover that learns to have fun outside and learns some work ethic, we consider it a job well done.
Many many training sessions over the years and I continue to take lessons myself. I have a certified teacher that has a lot of experience with kid lessons. I also have a couple of excellent trainers that I refer students to, as well as an experienced former rancher that works with my horses.

Meet and greet here to see our place and meet the horses. That way we ensure it's a good fit, a good distance from their home and a good rate. I usually do a small demo with them. This first session is free to ensure a good fit all around.
