About Inga
We welcome beginning to intermediate children and adults to our lesson program in St Maries Idaho. We give trail rides and focused individual lessons. Lessons are supervised by Inga lifelong equestrian with 10 years 4-H horse leader experience and English and western riding background as well as Backcountry packing.
Most of our younger riders prefer to take lessons from Mandy, an accomplished Jr Rodeo participant, 4.1 gpa honor National Honor Society member and student in St Maries Idaho. Mandy is a member of The District 3 Idaho High School Rodeo team the Eastern Washington Junior Rodeo Association, the Rolling Hills Rodeo association and participates in the Bratz Rodeo club.
Young riders interested in Junior Rodeo, Barrel Racing, goats, roping and O mok see, really enjoy taking lessons from Mandy. Her steady Rodeo horses are awesome with children.
We organized trail rides, instructional packing clinics for beginners as well as basic horsemanship mulemanship and husbandry. If clients require other services we are happy to help you find the resources you need.
And I studied agriculture with specific focus in equine training at Penn State in the process of earning her bachelor's degree she started and broke quarter horses for the PSU program training under Ward Studebaker gave her a desire to continue training horses and people after college while maintaining a regular job she took thoroughbreds off the track and train them to be amateur level Hunter and jumper.
Mandy has been involved with riding horses since she was 18 months old many years of lessons an active participation in the equine 4-H program, saddle club participation, training her own horses to be successful competitors and 5 years in Idaho HS Rodeo have refined her skills and increased her desire to share them with eager young people who yearn to acquire that same skill set.
Active Rodeo participation and a background that includes a lifetime of riding, give us experience and keep us current in the industry.

If the student has a horse of their own we will go to them and observe their interaction with their animal. Lesson and training programs are based on the needs and desires of the individual.

We recently visited our just turned three year old prospect horse in training and he is coming along amazing! Mandy rode him pleand sois ased with his progress I am glad we chose him.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Be honest about your skill level and realistic about your goals. Horsemanship is a well-rounded skill and lessons should include not only riding but ground training and handling as well as care and feeding lessons

Details
Clients without horses that would like to take riding lessons on canour well trained mounts may start with sessions between $20 and $30 per lesson depending on the time and level of skills.
If we are traveling to you and you're equine minimum charge will be $40
