About Gaston Alejandro
Apart from coding I am a little obsessed with meditation. This is intimately related to coding. To meditate truly is to unravel this beef computer in our skulls, to see the patterns of flow of information, how they work or cease to. This is essentially debugging. Meditation taught me things about code that aren't in any book or university. Code teaches me the faults in my thinking. Using this platform I can share them with you to save you precious time.
"Oh, so you know how to code. Can you help me with...?" And when the first of these got her first job as a developer, I knew I had something going.
I learned to code with the intensive Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp from Plataforma 5. We went from let vs const to building professional grade applications in 700 hours of madnes. I picked up the rest along the way, although I favor ZtM courses. I learned to meditate with Goenkajis Vipassana tradition and again, the rest came from experience. The interplay of this two skill does great for learning and teaching code.

At the end of the day there are no software developers, only humans playing the part. I use code, the harshness of functions that return undefined and variables that insist in not adding right to get a closer look at how we look at solving problems. Coding is simply solving puzzles, except that instead of for fun we do it to accomplish another goal, be it making money or creating an app. Get in touch with me if you want to learn how to do them both.
I work with people who really want something.
Don't. Try to build something, and when you run into trouble, hire a teacher to ask him questions. If you do that to a friend you drive him crazy, but a good teacher thrives with a student like that.
After a certain point of proficiency in meditation, every time you can stay still for a few moments you get an experience to be fond of.
