About Colleen
Colleen Parsons of Inner Decisions is a spiritual life coach, a CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) advocate, medium, and educator. As an R.N. with a master's degree in nursing Colleen teaches bachelor degree nursing students at a local college and has worked in many health care fields both inpatient and in the community. For over 40 years she has cared for patients across the lifespan from Labor and Delivery to hospice though much of her expertise is in mental health. Colleen is also a reverend of a small spiritualist church gathering in her community.
As a life coach, Colleen has helped women throughout the country plan and manage life changes and career decisions both in person or by telecommunication (telephone or video calls) for more than 15 years from her farm in rural upstate NY. I love watching women embrace their goals and desires. Doing so they transform and radiate their inner power. That power isn't overwhelming, it's soft and nurturing and very strong. That power doesn't outshine the woman, but it illuminates her. The power comes from a woman knowing what she knows and why she is here and the differences she can make.

Clients interested in life coaching often work with me via the telephone initially for 3 sessions. The first session is 60 minutes and the other two sessions are 30-60 minutes depending on the clients need. Often the primary issue is resolved within those three sessions and it will be some time before the client contacts me again. However, life can be quite challenging and some clients continue with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions for up to a year with annual check-ins thereafter. There is no hard and fast rule and the structure is designed to best meet the needs of the client.
