About Elaine
I am a retired elementary school teacher. My position allowed me to work with students who struggled with math and reading. I trained as a reading specialist, and have had extensive training working with math students. I have worked extensively with English Language Learners (ELL or ESOL) I have experience working with special education professionals as well as speech-language pathologists. I have been a private tutor for the past 4 years and thoroughly enjoy working with children. I am able to connect with children, making the learning process enjoyable to the student. I have a way of building confidence in a student, so that they may reach their educational goals.
