About
Welcome! My name is Christina, and I am a licensed New York State teacher. I hold a dual Master’s in Early Childhood Education as well as Special Education. I have over 10 years of private tutoring experience and several years of elementary classroom teaching experience. I have also worked as behavioral therapist for children with special needs. I specialize in elementary tutoring, reading, writing, and homework help. I offer a multifaceted approach to teaching, and strive to meet the needs and diverse learning styles of each individual student. I believe that patience and encouragement are crucial to the learning process, and tailor strategies and teaching methods to align with the goals and interests of both my students and their families. I love to provide fun and engaging tools to assist my students throughout the learning process. Not only does this help ensure success, but it also provides an exciting environment in which to learn. I look forward to helping your child and/or children reach their academic goals!
