About Wendy
My name is Wendy Torres. I am a special education teacher in NYC public schools. I being teaching for the over 10 years. I believe that through individualized teaching, as well as cooperative learning, students are able to reach their highest levels of proficiency in all subjects, as well as to develop leadership skills and team work. All of the strategies that I have learned through my education in teaching are aimed at providing the best education for my students, an education that will guide them to pursue a brighter future both in high school and higher education. I am a very dedicated and passionate educator, and my biggest goal is to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed academically, while also preparing them to become successful and responsible members of society.
