About Alexis
Hello! I am currently an elementary music paraprofessional with a background in pre-kindergarten education and elementary age tutoring. I possess 60+ college credit hours in music and elementary education courses from Southern Arkansas University as well. My goal as a supplemental instructor in a child's life is to help them meet their goals without feelings of isolation or doubt. I use strategies that make a child think outside of the box, and use a game-like approach to ensure retainment of information. I am extremely passionate about educating children while creating a safe space for them to thrive. I welcome parental feedback, and am more than happy to work with classroom/homeschool teachers to ensure all concerns are taken care of in a timely manner.
