About Shayna
I have worked in preschools for more than 8 years preparing kids for school and helping kids in after school care with homework. In high school I spent a year working with special needs students to aid in teaching academics and life skills and because of my dedication to the class I was awarded the Humanitarian award at graduation. I love watching kids grow and learn. My son was taught preschool at home and was more than prepared for kindergarten. We love using a variety of methods to learn such as games, activities, songs, flash cards, etc. My goal along with feedback from parents is to find what works best for each child so that learning can be fun and exciting.
