About Linda

I am a certified Life/spiritual coach for the past 12 years and counselor for eight years. I coach women in recovery to reclaim their lives and empower and uplift their spirits. I also give some treatment options as substance abuse counselor. I have a masters degree in counseling and a BA in management organizational leadership. I completed both degrees in a high GPA especially in writing academic papers and understanding how to create a thesis and beginning statement paragraphs for graduate and undergrad papers. My business was created in 2011 in life coaching and assisting clients in setting goals and preparing for a empowered life towards business, career, academics and other endeavors.

I have tutored other students in reading and devising papers for academic purposes. I am proficient in writing and reading and have devised my own tutor program to assist adults only in tutoring for college and university assistance. In addition, I am willing to assist in helping adult individuals with understanding the mechanics of English to assist in learning the English language to also help tutor adults in their college and university academics or life goals.

I am available to tutor adults only via Zoom or other virtual online media. Adult individuals must have the proper computer technology for the tutorial process. I Tutor 45 mins to one hour. Clients must have access to printer so they can print any material for homework assignments and have email for additional communication.

The first session is an introduction and get to know session for the client to decide if I am the right fit and to assist them in moving forward in their reading and writing tutoring sessions. This first session is free of charge and can last anywhere from 15 mins to 30. If client decides to move forward a scheduled timeline will be devised and discussion of what to expect.

I am passionate about helping individual s realize their goals in life especially in education which is so important in order to create the life you want to live.

I love to read, write poetry, short stories, watercolor paint and enjoy my doggie. I work from home and enjoy every minute of it. I am flexible but being on time and creating a workflow is most important to see progress. I am excited to meet you and can't wait to help you realize your dreams.

I taught the creative writing process through my brothers non-profit, Music and Mentors which started back in 2008.

I have certified as Life coach, received in 2010, Masters degree in addiction counseling, creative writing with Full Sail for two years. Presently I am in a PhD program with Capella University in the Adv. STudies in Human Behaviors program.

About the lesson

Building a relationship is the first step towards meeting a student for the first time. It is important to begin finding out about each other in case the student decides I am not a good fit or that I decide the student is not a good fit, then we can part ways in a positive light.

Teenage students beginning from age 14-19

I had two client complete their treatment program and they are now going on with their lives without using drugs or alcohol. I am an advocate for young people who used drugs and find themselves struggle in the process. Being able to give them the tools and coping skills to recognize when they are in trouble is extremly rewarding.
