About
After 23 years as a doctor's assistant, i changed professions to education. I'm now a retired 1st grade teacher and reading specialist with a teaching history of over 20 years. I received my B.Sci. in Elementary Education from Westfield State University in 1992 and my M.Ed in 1999 from UMASS Amherst. I was also a professor for a short time at Baypath University with a concentation in curriculum development. My own children are grown and married and I have two grandchildren, ages 4 and 8. I love teaching reading. There isn't a day that goes by without the Aha and that's the best!!
