About Misty
I have been teaching for 26 years. I started out as an elementary school teacher and began teaching vision impaired students 22 years ago. As a vision impaired teacher I work with students of all ages ranging from 3 years old to students graduating from high school. I have worked with students of all ability levels ranging from students with multiple disabilities to gifted students with a visual impairment. Mix considering what I want to do after retirement and am considering tutoring as my direction after I am done teaching. I want to tutor part time now while I finish out my last 4 years to make the transition smooth!
