About Stephen
I started my martial arts training in 1976, in 1977 my sifu/teacher asked me to teach a children's class twice a week. By my second class, I knew that I loved and had a passion for teaching, sharing, helping, and giving all, that martial arts is truly about, to anyone who is will to be open and learn.
I have 41 years of Martial Arts education, experience, and training in several different disciplines. I owned, and operated 3 martial arts studios for 20 years.

I always ask the students, and/or their parents what are their goals, what would they like to accomplish, what's their reasons for wanting lessons. Then I work with them to set up a game plan and schedule to accomplish their goals.
I have taught, and worked with students from 5 years of age to 80+. I have worked with students that have had physical challenges, adults that have physical injury, senior citizens in elderly care homes, and women on awareness and self defense classes.
Make sure that the teacher care about their students overall well being.
