About Thulisile

I love mathematics and teaching it to other people especially young individuals. I do not care about their level in their subject but the growth of the learner, which I believe growth is mathematics. So seeing and experiencing that growth from ones I am teaching is really an amazing process. One of the reasons why I do my best in every lesson planning and lessons to see that growth.

I love explaining a lot but there is no more satisfying thing in what I do than engaging with my students. Wether listening about their thoughts about a certain topic, just to grasp an idea of how they think. It could be also them asking me questions about what I am teaching. To me that is a sign that they are learning and make it easier for me to figure what they need without them actually telling me.

About the lesson

I always have to remind myself that all learners are built different. So learning what type of a person and learner is my student is imperative, wether they are super focused or playful. Even if it is something that is going challenge the teaching and learning process I have to know, so that I can start thinking of ways to work around these challenge to the end goal.
