About Alexandria

I have worked in multiple public schools throughout North Jersey servicing grades 3-8. I also am certified in special education. I have taught math and language arts and will incorporate technology into my lessons whenever possible.

I strive to help my students understand what they are learning is purposeful within life outside of school. I also know how hard school can be for children and my goal is to deliver instruction in chunks to ensure understanding and reduce frustration.

I graduated from William Paterson University with my Bachelors degree in English Literature. I also attained my certification in elementary education and special education. I have worked in various public school in NJ and finally found a home within Rockaway Township Public Schools teaching fifth grade special education.

About the lesson

Consulting with families is an important step when starting the process of working with a new student. I prefer to start with basic instruction of the topic that needs improvement, so I can pinpoint what the students needs are.
