About Daryan

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's in Biology and have completed two years as an Optometry Student at the University of Houston. I have experience tutoring students from elementary age through high school and college, spanning many subjects. Math has always been my favorite to teach, but I also enjoy and excel in the Sciences and English! I am enthusiastic about learning and I love having the opportunity to help students gain confidence in their school work!

I have a degree in Biology and have completed two years of medical schooling.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I like to get the know you - what works for you, what you tend to struggle with, etc. And, I like for you to get to know me through my teaching strategies. I like to keep the school work to the point, as to not waste your time, but I still keep it engaging, relatable, and fun!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think it is very important for a student to talk to a potential teacher about what they are struggling with and the student's goal to improve. I would then collaborate with the student to create a realistic stratedgy to achieve sed goal.
