About Sophia
I have a passion for teaching math and science. I have taught 8th grade, Biology, and chemistry at a classical school. I graduated with a Biochemistry degree and was Valedictorian of my graduating class in 2023. I have worked as a private tutor for several years during high school and college. I am available for remote tutoring through skype or zoom with flexible hours.
I enjoy seeing the light bulb go off when students figure out that they can succeed, and they understand the concept at hand.

I start by understanding what the student wishes to achieve. I go over their goals and come up with a plan for them to achieve them. For math, I would start at the basics and then build up since without the basics the rest of the material will not make sense.
