About Robert

I have a B.S. undergraduate degree from Temple University
I have a MALS (master's) degree from NC State University
I have 20+ years teaching experience, elementary through high school, public school and private school for learning disabled children.

I get to know a little bit about them, evaluate type of learner they are, get an idea of where to begin by finding their strengths and weaknesses.
I have worked with all types of students having 20 plus years of teaching in public and private schools. The students with learning disablities are the most interesting because they tend to be the most creative and challenging.
There are two things when looking for a math (and chess) tutor. They need to understand the materal, and they also need to be able to teach it. Einstein probably wouldn't be the best tutor; he knows the material, but he would probably not be able to teach it. Teaching means to transfer the information, and he would probably be too technical for most people.
My daughter graduated high school and just completed her first year at Campbell University. She is enjoying it and I am extremely happy and proud of her.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should identify the problem first, then come up with possible solutions. Teachers can then make a determination on the best course of action to take.
