About Christina

I obtained my teaching degree from University of Houston in 1998 with a certification in math and history 1-8. I specialize in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, College Algebra prep, College Algebra and Geometry. I have two earned Master Degrees (Curriculum/Instruction & Educational Administration) and my Educational Doctorate (Teacher Leadership).

My educational philosophy is that all people have the ability to learn, each in his/her own way. I have experience in helping students with learning disabilities and creating a personalized learning plan for each student. There is no "one size fits all".

I have experience teaching all levels - in public school as well the community college level.

I love to serve people and see them succeed in the goals set before them.

I always wanted to be a 7th grade math teacher so that is what I went to school for.

The first thing I want to do is meet you!  This would be an hour consultation session to set goals.

The second session would be to review the plan that is developed as a result of the goal-setting meeting.

After that, we start the journey set before us!
