About Andrew
I've worked as a secondary math teacher for 16 years, having taught everything from remedial algebra courses to 7th grade honors to Calculus.
Math isn't about memorization and magic formulas; it's about logic. Understanding where ideas come from and why they are useful to us is more important than just being able to perform tasks on command. That being said, it's also nice to know a few bits of number sense to let your brain focus on that logic instead of being bogged down with computation.
Regardless of your level of confidence, I'm sure we can find where your natural logic has been hiding so we can give it some light, fresh air, and the support it needs to grow.
