About Horace
Hi, I'm Greeley Dawson! In high school, I volunteered as a one-on-one tutor for underserved elementary schoolers in my community. I was accepted to New College of Florida, the honors college of that state's higher education system, on full scholarship for achieving good grades and standardized test scores in high school. After college, I moved to Atlanta and used my math and logic skills to work as a freelance web developer. I also began volunteering as a one-on-one tutor for underserved students again.
I am looking forward to using my volunteer expertise to help my students learn, as I have been doing for over a combined 15 years. I am a flexible and patient tutor, and it has always been rewarding to me to see my students slowly master their material with my guidance. I teach by example and guide students through practicing until they can meet the challenge on their own. Get in touch and we will book a learning session!
