About Bruce
I started tutoring math when one of my college professors recommended me as a tutor in statistics. I found it very rewarding, and my students (who were struggling with the coursework), excelled. Most of them were either psychology or nursing students, so doing well in stats was vital for admission to their career programs. Since then, I volunteered numerous students in numerous courses, and I have loved watching them blossom and follow their education and their careers.
My college statistics professor recommended me as a paid tutor. I looked into it, gave it a try, and loved it! There is not much better than seeing a student approach a difficult subject and master it with confidence
MS Degree in Computer Science.
BS degree in Computational Physics.

In the past, I would first talk to / email the teacher / professor to get suggestions about the student's strengths and weaknesses, and the course goals. Then I would look for problems that were simple, and see how they did, and then gradually increase the complexity until they started to have problems.
College students, high school and middle school students. The middle school students were students from a Robotics club I volunteer-taught, and when I saw that some of them could use help with the math, I volunteered my time to help them out.
Look for someone you like working with, who is interested in your current situation and who believes in you!
