About Alisha
Hello! My name is Alisha and I am an incoming senior at UT Austin studying public health. I have been volunteering as a tutor for an entire year now. I tutored middle school students on various math and science topics. I have been able to work with students to create lesson plans and easily break down topics. As a fellow student, I am passionate about helping other students succeed and meet their academic goals!
I have a year of tutoring experience. I tutored middle school students in math and science virtually.

When working with a new student I schedule an initial meeting where we discuss areas they're struggling with as well as their academic goals. I then try to identify what techniques would allow them to learn best, whether that's through practice or other means.
