About Renea

Tailored Tutoring is exactly what I offer. I am a teacher with 28 years of experience. I have taught in the elementary and middle school settings. I have worked primarily in the regular classroom as an inclusion teacher where I have taught students with Learning Disabilties, ADHD, and Emotional and Behavior Disorders, as well as Autism. I was honored to receive the 2018 Teacher of the Year for my school and district. Throughout my many years of experience working with students who have learning problems, I have implemented many specialized instructional strategies that have been effective in helping students master new skills and be more successful in school. I believe in tailored tutoring where each student receives specialized instruction designed specifically for him or her. My passion is to help students believe in themselves through experiencing success and to push them to be their best.

I love helping students experience success through specialized instruction and strategies. Success breeds self confidence. Helping students believe in themselves and be the best they can be is my passion.

I have a Bachelors degree from Mercer University in Middle Grades Education and a Masters degree in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. I have 28 years teaching experience working in elementary and middle grades. I have primarily taught in an inclusion setting working with Learning Disabled, Behavior Disordered, ADHD, and Autistic students. I have received extensive training in implementing specialized instruction with struggling students.
