About Sabra

Hi! I'm Sabra and as the oldest of 5 siblings, lover of reading and STEM and aspiring neurologist, I understand the importance of education and enjoying learning! Growing up struggling in several subjects, having a good tutor made a world of difference and I strive to be that influence for each student I work with. Let's face it, in a world where students are seeing things quickly, technology and instant answers right at their fingertips, it's no wonder that more and more often, students are getting left behind their peers when they don't understand a topic. Study habits aren't as enforced and learning happens facing a screen. As a tutor I seek to change these learning methods and help students to learn in a style that works best for them and motivates future learning on their own! I can't wait to meet your student!

My favorite part of teaching is watching a student grasp a topic that once confused them. Learning is difficult but once enjoyed becomes a treat. I enjoy helping students to find the fun in reading and laugh with math on the daily.
