About Brittany

As a current Algebra teacher, I have a ton of experience working with students on math and breaking the material down in ways they can understand. Additionally, I have tutoring experience in everything from elementary school to Calculus, with a soft spot for anything Algebra related.

The moment a student finally grasps the material and that lightbulb over their head just goes off is something that is priceless. I have a passion for helping people and making them realize that they are capable of doing anything they set their mind to, including math.

I have my degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education and currently work as an Algebra teacher in the 8th grade. However, even before this, I tutored throughout high school and college, and loved it.

Typically, I begin by going over any material or content the student already has. We continue to work backwards until we get to the point where they went from understanding to confusion. This is where we begin to bridge and close those gaps, until we are back to them feeling confident in themselves.
