About Christopher
I am a graduate of Princeton and Yale, and have been working as a tutor and homeschool teacher in New York City for over fifteen years. I have experience teaching math (up to and including college-level calculus), science (biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science), English, history, writing (including college essays), and test prep (e.g., SAT, ACT, GRE, SSAT, ISEE) to elementary-school, middle-school, high-school, and college students. In addition, I have worked with students in a number of specialized subjects, including logic, classical geography, politics, and economics.
My experience has taught me that teaching requires organization, preparedness, flexibility, and patience. My multifaceted education, which included writing both undergraduate and graduate theses, has fostered in me a love of learning that I try to pass along to my students.
I have degrees from Princeton and Yale, and received training to be a Yale teaching fellow.
