About Samantha
I am a relatively new special education teacher. I work at a charter school in Denver CO. I am well trained in working with many different students that learn in different ways. I therefore also have experience in various different subjects. I am great at targeting a students specific and individualized needs in order to support them in acheiving grade level standards.
I LOVE connecting with my students and watching them meet their goals. I like to get them invested in their own work and give them the motivation to do their work to the best of their ability.
I graduated college with a Bachelors of Art in Neuroscience in 2019. I have also completed a teacher licensure program which licensed me both to teach General Education as well as Special Education.

I like to identify the lowest level skills that the student is having trouble with. By working on this skill I believe the students will by consequence improve in higher level skills. Creating a solid foundation allows us to increase in skill level and consistently work our way up to grade level standards.
I work with grade levels 2 - 8 with a variety of different needs.
