About Emily
My name is Emily Sonne, and I am an elementary school teacher and tutor. I have over 6 years of experience with teaching professionally (1st and 5th grade), as well as several years of tutoring and substitute teaching with students in grades K-8. I love teaching and have known that it was something I wanted to do since I was in Kindergarten myself. I have a BS and MA in Elementary Education and am currently providing tutoring services for students in grades K-6. I especially enjoy teaching math, writing (and handwriting), and reading skills. I believe it is important to provide students with a structured, as well as engaging, education that focuses on their unique learning style and interests.
