About Bekah
I have been a tutor for students grades 1st through 11th. I have tutored students in reading, spelling, and math. From these tutoring experiences, I have learned that every child has a unique way of learning. Therefore, when working with children, my goal is to understand how I can meet their specific needs by allowing them to be part of the process. When I have created activities that are specific to the student’s needs and desires, it has not only been an effective way for them to learn but it has also allowed the student to feel validated and empowered.
I love the work I do as a tutor because I am able to empower students by giving them the tools needed to overcome academic struggles which allow them to enjoy learning.
