About Nicholas

I have a Bachelor of Science in Physics with an additional major in Advanced Mathematics from Michigan State University. I have several years of tutoring experience at all levels, including being an instructor at a local Mathnasium for two years. I have an intense passion for all things math and physics, and would love instill that in others.

I enjoy working with all kinds of people, of all skill levels. My favorite part of learning new things is all the different ways something can be viewed, thought of, and approached. Everyone has their own way of thinking; I love trying to learn how my students think, learning where the disconnect is with the topic I'm trying to teach, and using that to figure out how to give them the best understanding of the topic I can.

I have worked with college students in introductory physics courses, and in my time at Mathnasium, I have worked with students of all levels up to high school; many students there are behind their grade level and need help developing the skills necessary to understand and do their class work, and some students are there to go beyond their grade level and enrich their learning.
