About Jacynth Tate
I'm a current student studying at MIT. I love math and I was the math team president in high school. I enjoy helping people understand why the numbers and formulas make sense and it's my goal to help my students find passion in doing math that my calculus teacher helped me find.
I like seeing people understand. There's a satisfaction in working through something difficult.
Plus, there aren't enough people who enjoy math and I want to change that.

About the lesson

I like to spend the first day having a talk with the student to see where they're at and how much they know about where they need to be. During that first day, I'd ask them to show me any syllabus and/or textbook they may have so that I can match my own lessons to what they have to learn in school.
In later sessions, I'd spend time covering the material we need to review, do one or two problems together with the student, then later leave the student to work on some problems alone.
