About Kaci
Individualized and personalized learning helps learning become more meaningful for students. Also, having a math background makes the content come out more meaningful and relevant to the students.
I love making math connect for students. That realization of its not as hard as they thought or that they are not incapable makes it all worth it.
My mother and father are both in education so you could say education is in my blood. My mother is a math teacher. Both of my parents taught me a love for students and the mission of shaping the next generation.
I have a bachelors of science in Math and Seconday education. I also have my masters in education. I have taught the past four years in 7th,8th, and 9th grade classrooms. I have tutored for the ACT, 7th, 8th, Algebra 1 and 2, as well as geometry.

I will first get an understanding of where a student is with their content by watching them work a few problems. Then we will discuss in detail the students processes and what strategies they can use. I never leave without giving the student something to work on for next time.
I have worked with every type of student from students with IEP to verified gifted students. I have worked with 6th- 12th graders.
Find a tutor that makes math fun, make sure the math challenges you so that you can grow. Make a connection with the tutor.
